Eat all you want sweetie.. maybe just go a little easy on the desserts..!! ;) It is sugar that you need to watch out for. Everything in moderation is a good rule to eat by..

Wonderful to hear your out and about and enjoying it... You have to much to offer to isolate yourself in the house.. :-4

I know LC its hard to understand but you don't have to be a sugar or sweet eater to become diabetic..Your sugar levels became elavated who knows how.. But once they do and insuline is necessary it is the only way to keep them level and not suffer the devastating effects that not controlling them does to the body..

Diabetis runs in my family so I must be ever cautious. I fear diabetis more than any other disease.. it destroys the entire body one organ at a time. My father was an alcoholic he was diabetic, my mother drank to much for a 10 year period in her life she is now diabetic (type II) no insuline required yet. So if I understand it or not, I'm at high risk for the disease and will do what ever it take to not become a diabetic. Exercise, drink in moderation, no smoking, and as I have aged blood test every six month to see how this ol broad is doing.. Noting stay the same especially our health. :-4

Ybor City used to be authentic but they turned it into a Bourbon street, 300 bars. You could go to a hole in the wall and get the real deal. Watch craftsmen roll cigars its all changed now. There are stiil a couple of Cuban restaurants there though.
