Does he cope with your cellulite:-3 , stretch marks and kids?

Oh and those little things that make you you:-2 you know .... squeezing the toothpaste in the middle, flaky mascara, losing keys, being terrible at telling jokes....(only remembering the punchline)

I met Bullet at, believe it or not, a bar. (Yep, sometimes you really CAN find a good one in a bar!) I was just off my shift and sitting down to have a drink with my customers when in walked this monstrous, sexy as hell biker. I fell instantly in lust. Told him I wanted to peel him. (He was all decked out in his riding leather.)

I am fortunate *knocking wood* as I don't have any cellulite, but I do have some pretty hellacious stretch marks, that he doesn't care one whit about. Says it's the sign of a real women. So, yeah, maybe he's blowing sunshine up my ass, but who cares, right?

We have very few things about each other that annoy the other. His biggest one is when I forget to stock extra toilet paper under the bathroom sink. Totally understandable.

Mine is probably when he uses the wrong sponge for washing dishes. But come on, you don't wash dishes with the same sponge you use to wipe off counters, right?!

Our kids get along great with each other and with each of us. He has a 14-year old daughter who I adore to pieces and a 10 year old son who barely knows when I'm there, he's so shy. That and he's always playing video games. But he's a great kid. My son is 16 and he idolizes my hubby and Bullet has a blast with him. All in all, I am very blessed. We both always tell people that we are very lucky. I am one happy wife. :-4

Jen, being over 35 doesn't make a difference. The quirks we have, men have their own. Men and women have different body builds in their 30s, and a hunk is hunk, or a babe is a babe, at any age!:)

Hi jenmac, I believe it's never too late for love, I'm 41 years old, overweight and was on my own with my son for 8 years before I decided to try a bit of internet dating.

I had heard a few horror stories about it but also some good stories too and the good out weighed the bad so I went for it. Basically you are in control if you don't feel happy about meeting someone then you don't do it, in my case some I met some I didn't but on the whole I made a few friends, anyway I actually met Ian (gargoyle) through text dating not through the internet, it wasn't love at first sight but it didn't take long for me to fall, he turned out to be a hairy, tattoo weilding biker, he thinks he's fecking ugly (his words not mine ) but I think he is lovely, he is my gentle giant and I love him dearly :-4:-4

We are planning on getting married in the near future and although we have only been together for about a year we are expecting a baby boy in May (I know it's quick but I'm not getting any younger you know :rolleyes: and when it's right it's right )

Unlike babyrider I do have cellulite as well as stretch marks but Ian doesn't care he says he loves me anyway, Ian's no light weight himself but I would love him no matter what he looked like, I think if you can't except the person your with the way they are then you shouldn't be with them .

So in the words of WET,WET,WET love is all around us, it's just a matter of finding it and it can be anywhere, at work, in a bar, at the supermarket, on the internet.

I've been with my love over 20 years. She complains she's getting old; I haven't noticed. She says she's getting fat, but she still has trouble finding clothes outside of the kiddie dept and seldom makes the scales read 3 digits (she's 5 feet 1). Her cooking has gotten better, starting from really good. We learned long ago to fight fair, so it's not even fun anymore. When she loses things or drops something & makes a mess, it gives me a chance to laugh & do my little "I'm not the only one" song. Nope, nothing about her really irritates me.



I would think her biggest complaint about me is that I don't pay close attention to detail.

42 and thrown out into the dating world. I tried the dating scene for 1 year and hated it. My maturity level frustrates people their own age who have resigned themselves to getting old. (translated to I am immature) hehehehe

Then thought I would try one more time with the online dating and bravely messaged a lovely youthful looking male with the most gorgeous brown eyes. Well it worked, we have been dating for almost 2 years. He is a gem. We have talked about the odd quirks each of us has, and changes and tolerance came about. WELL...I met my hubby very soon after I separated from my first husband. The first husband "loved me but wasn't IN love with me" because he met a blonde

Anyway...separated and moved back home to my parents for help raising my two kids...becasue support wasn't going to come from what few people I knew down there.

Anyway, I got a child support check and it BOUNCED! and I was having myself a crying fit because I was cleaning condos and hauling hay and trying to make ends meet and they were always within sight, but never touching. My freind's husband was supposed to come put the radiator into my truck because I couldn't afford the labor on top of the price of the radiator when out of nowhere this guy shows up at the back door and says his brother had to work late, but he would put inthe radiator...and I'm in tears and my young son is screaming " take me fishing at the pond mama...you promised" ( I was having one of THOSE days).Well, needless to say he was confused and kinda scared by a crying mother whose son was screaming fits and whose daughter was asleep in her lap....so he took the little boy fishing (pond in back yard) and told me to "put myself together". Needless to day in about 30 minutes they were back at the door and my son was happy, I had stopped crying, and my daughter was still sleeping...so the world was a bit better off

He put my radiator in for me and said he'd be back in 3 days to check it to make sure it wasn't leaking and he was sorry his brother had not been able to come, but that he shared my "story" with him and he wanted to help me out. I thanked him and let it roll off my back pretty much...still enraged at the soon to be ex for the check that bounced. Three days later he showed up and checked my radiator and it was still good. He asked if I was driving far in the next few days and I said, that I had to actually go a good distance to sign the final papers for the divorce and would be on the road for the next couple of days quite a bit. He said the radiator looked good, but he didn't think I needed to be on the road without a phone just in case. He asked if my parents had a cell and I said "no". He just shrugged his head. He asked if things had calmed down with the bad check and if I had money to travel on and I said "I'll get it somewhere...thanks for the radiator installation...bye". I went to my truck the next morning preparing to leave for the dreaded task fo signing the final papers and there was a cell phone and $20 bucks in my truck seat. Now that should've made me sigh and think sweet things, but it absolutely infuriated me. I really thought this guy was trying to take advantage of me in my bad situation...so I returned these things to his brother and said "tell him to bug off".

Well, he didn't contact me in a long while, but from time to time there would be diapers left onthe back porch. When my daughter finally went to pull ups they would show up. He never called for the longest time...and when he did he had arranged a dinner with his brother, his wife (my best bud) their son and my kids and him. He said I had to drive myself and my kids because it wouldn't be right to be seen in a vehicle with him and the kids since my divorce hadn't gone through (which I had to countersue to get through...lazy ex husband) and so I went. From then on it was pure love...and he hasn't changed one bit. He adopted my kids 3 mos. after we wed because the ex voluntarily terminated his rights. We've been a super happy family and he's a great father. I'm really glad my radiator went out now

Seeeeeee, told ya it was a tear jerker. There are good guys out there...but LORD they are hard to find.
