Of all the sites I visit, FG is the slowest in opening. Why is it so? Will other members share their experience?

Forumgarden operates fast for me. The performance is even good when I am on dialup.

Yes, it is slow here also in the Northeast part of the united states. Receiving messages and reading mail can slow things down. It is most of the time slow.

Suresh, glad to see you back.

I am working off my laptop here in New Zealand and find all procedures in Forum Garden to be pretty quick as well as just accessing the site. No problems uploading or downloading.

Today Sunday 1/23/05 the format of the Forum appears to be different, is it for you or just for me? It has changed, do you see that?

I never actually log out, and use Maxthon Browser so when I open it (I have four that open together) I'm already logged in, nice and easy that.

Out of the four that load together FG has been the fastest, but others have been slower lately, even the flatmate just said that his sites have been very slow this morning.

The head gardner has added several new headings, Sports, Yard sales, Senior site, etc.

If it looks new it is.

Cars :driving:Thing is, all those "new" boards have been there for some time... The senior one for instance since November last year ;)

Every once in a while I become plagued with "Server cannot be found" messages every time I try to post. Today the home page is all jumbled, list of online users and latest posts is not in right spot and I keep getting logged out and in against my will. Never know if it's my computer or the site so I defragmented, virus checked and now I'm trying again.

jumbled page yes, and the background for my avatar is black? I have seen this in the past, have had trouble getting back and forth? Is it storm related and too many are on the internet? Am i in trouble again for something? I need warning if i am to be kicked off, one can quit only one habit at a time. No butts for 1 month, eating a lot and feeling chubby. :sneaky:

No Paula, I don't think you are being kicked off. You are an integral part of FG. It may be a temporary technical problem, as being slow for some members. I am on Firefox now and FG has become fast in opening and posting messages.
