From POTUS SOTU address:
Keeping America competitive requires an immigration system that upholds our laws, reflects our values, and serves the interests of our economy. Our nation needs orderly and secure borders. (Applause.) To meet this goal, we must have stronger immigration enforcement and border protection. (Applause.) And we must have a rational, humane guest worker program that rejects amnesty, allows temporary jobs for people who seek them legally, and reduces smuggling and crime at the border. (Applause.)
Translation: Many of my financial supporters use illegal immigrants to optimize profit margins. Here's some empty platitudes. (Applause.)
Illegal immigrants are criminals. People and bureaucracies who assist criminals are likewise criminals. We allow the younger criminals to go to school free of charge, then give them reduced tuition if they choose to go to university. We allow the older criminals access to public services, health care, and employment with no consequence either to the criminal or their abettors.
Leave food uncovered in the kitchen and you'll get cockroaches. Leave food on the back yard and you'll attract vermin. Of course we have an illegal immigration problem. Who's to blame them, with all the free services we give them?
Deport foreign criminals and bill Mexico for not watching their borders
Prosecute the citizens who abet the criminals.

Cockroaches and vermin......... What a way with words your have!
This analagy is really going to stick with me. Thanks for the vivid picture you painted.
True what you say, but money talks. Our country does not do what is right because it listens instead to the voices that are constantly talking ......... and the money controls the voices. How do you maintain the system that has been built up without tumbling the whole system their work supports.....or is this but part of what the voices are saying??????????

If it tumbles, it deserves to tumble. Consequences of one's choices & actions. I think we'll survive. The sooner we do it, the easier it'll be.
