I am often teased by my Kiwi neighbors for always using the clothes dryer to dry laundry. Oh they say----"your clothes smell so much better and are fresher when dried ouside, and besides look at the money you save by not using the electricty". I say HORSEPUCKY!!! Your clothes will pick up pollens and dust while drying outside as well as insect and bird droppings. They look at me funny and say """Hmmm--never thought of that".
Soo------------what do you prefer?

Laundry Drying-----Out doors????
Well, it's winter here, so I hang alot of my clothes indoors. But I use the dryer alot for sheets and towels and those heavy thing.
I always liked to hang out my kids clothes when they were babies outdoors, smelled so nice when you brought them in.:-6

I hang outside whenever possible. You wear your clothes and they pick up pollen and dust anyway!

Being a domesticated 21st Century man, I am spoiled for choice. There's the rotary line on the lawn. Good in the Summer until the birds eat the red berries and fancy some low altitude target practice. Then there's the one under shelter on the patio which is handy when it's raining, and then when I feel lazy there's the tumble dryer. Just had to buy a new one as the old one died of exhaustion. As my washing machine switched off mid-post, I'll pass on the 2 outdoor options

I did use the tumble dryer ALL the time as I don't get much time to hang it out due to work. I won't leave it out over night in case a 'pervert' pinches the undies..
Dryer broke down 2 weeks ago and I am drying everything indoors over radiators...probably won't bother to buy a new one.
Preference would be to dry outside....good old British weather can't be relied on though.

Radiators are fine if you want towels like cardboard
