Baze passes Shoemaker!

Russell Baze passed Bill Shoemaker over the weekend... 8,834 winning

rides. He now is number 2 behind Laffite Pincay, Jr. for winningest jockey.

Pincay is at 9,530. If Baze keeps up his pace and doesn't get injured, he

should reach number 1 in a year and a half to 2 years. Would be pretty neat.
