Which airport is better?

Post by jennyswan »

Guys and gals

I can fly return from Cork to Gatwick for 45.00 with Ryanair for 2 people.

I can fly with aerlingus from Cork to Heathrow for 116.00 for 2 people.

Which airport is more central to London?

Thanks

Gatwick is in Surrey which is south of London. Buslinks are available to London. Heathrow is West London. Tube straight into central London. I prefer Heathrow. It has it's own post code!:wah:

jenn, forget about the airports, do you have any fear of flying" in the 25 or 35 seat small airplanes that Ryanair uses? Personally, I don't like "small" planes, but that's just me! If it doesn't matter to you, then as others have said go Heathrow.

Have a great trip, which ever you choose. :)

Hi Cars and Thanks

I don't fear flying at all, just crashing :wah:

No seriously though I suffer from panic disorder so one of the things I had to accomplish was to fly without being a total wreck. It's not the fear of flying as such it's the confined space that I don't like but I take my courage in hand and all my little techniques and I usually cope OK.

I have to otherwise I couldn't go anywhere :)

Yeah I don't like crashing either jen, it could kill ya. :wah: But from what you said, all the more reason for you not to want to fly in a "SMALL" confined plane, I would think (but again that's just me) "bigger" is better for that problem. :-2
