Big sense of adventure cowboy when cooking over an open fire. Would kick into survivor mode and snare something wild to cook over an open fire than.....spam ala stick! :D

Monty Python Spam Song

Scene: A cafe. One table is occupied by a group of Vikings wearing horned helmets. Whenever the word "spam" is repeated, they begin singing and/or chanting. A man and his wife enter. The man is played by Eric Idle, the wife is played by Graham Chapman (in drag), and the waitress is played by Terry Jones, also in drag.

Man: You sit here, dear.

Wife: All right.

Man: Morning!

Waitress: Morning!

Man: Well, what've you got?

Waitress: Well, there's egg and bacon; egg sausage and bacon; egg and spam; egg bacon and spam; egg bacon sausage and spam; spam bacon sausage and spam; spam egg spam spam bacon and spam; spam sausage spam spam bacon spam tomato and spam;

Vikings: Spam spam spam spam...

Waitress: ...spam spam spam egg and spam; spam spam spam spam spam spam baked beans spam spam spam...

Vikings: Spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam!

Waitress: ...or Lobster Thermidor a Crevette with a mornay sauce served in a Provencale manner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and with a fried egg on top and spam.

Wife: Have you got anything without spam?

Waitress: Well, there's spam egg sausage and spam, that's not got much spam in it.

Wife: I don't want ANY spam!

Man: Why can't she have egg bacon spam and sausage?

Wife: THAT'S got spam in it!

Man: Hasn't got as much spam in it as spam egg sausage and spam, has it?

Vikings: Spam spam spam spam... (Crescendo through next few lines...)

Wife: Could you do the egg bacon spam and sausage without the spam then?

Waitress: Urgghh!

Wife: What do you mean 'Urgghh'? I don't like spam!

Vikings: Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!

Waitress: Shut up!

Vikings: Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!

Waitress: Shut up! (Vikings stop) Bloody Vikings! You can't have egg bacon spam and sausage without the spam.

Wife: I don't like spam!

Man: Sshh, dear, don't cause a fuss. I'll have your spam. I love it. I'm having spam spam spam spam spam spam spam beaked beans spam spam spam and spam!

Vikings: Spam spam spam spam. Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!

Waitress: Shut up!! Baked beans are off.

Man: Well could I have her spam instead of the baked beans then?

Waitress: You mean spam spam spam spam spam spam... (but it is too late and the Vikings drown her words)

Vikings: Spam spam spam spam. Lovely spam! Wonderful spam! Spam spa-a-a-a-a-am spam spa-a-a-a-a-am spam. Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Spam spam spam spam!

Spam Jam: the only restaurant of its kind

By Cecille S. Visto, Sub-Editor

When Purefoods Hormel Company announced that Filipinos consumed some 30 million pounds of Spam in 2003, the idea of opening a special restaurant serving only the famed luncheon meat made much more sense.

Spam is great! It's short for SPiced hAM. I eat it in sandwiches straight from the can. If it's refrigerated, I fry it first.

My beloved spoons bite size chunks of it into the wok & stir-fries it with tofu, bean sprouts, and green onion. DEEEEEEEElicious!

Try this out Snoozy....spam has it's own fan club...http://www.spam.com/

(pssttt... I'm not sure it's THAT good for you...high in calories and fat content but pretty tasty grilled etc or with tomato in a sandwich)

One day me and my cousin wanted somthing to eat but there was no bread. So we heated up toritallas. Slathered them with mayo, added sliced cheese and spam. Was the grossest thing I'd ever eaten.

Spam is worse than potted meat if you ask me..........:yh_sick :yh_sick :yh_sick

I wonder what the association is between spam the edible junk product and spam the email junk product? How did it come to be "spam"? Here in Canada we used to have your spam knock off called Prem, yeah my mah thought Prem was the cats meow when us kids were small, uhmmmm that is how I acquired such a keen desire for loads of mustard, it offered up a good cover up taste...

Loads of definitions of 'Spamming' on the web, but couldn't find one that explained WHY it was so called. We need an IT buff I guess

About 13 years ago, I was a newlywed and BROKE! Spam was about half the price of real meat back then so I learned to cook with it. Spam is super expensive these days. I only cooked with smoked spam, it's actually pretty good. Regular was gross though.

I made:

Spamwiches: slice of spam, 1 fried egg, slice of cheese in a english muffin

Macaroni and spam: Mac and cheese with cubed spam

Spam stir fry: That didn't turn out so well

Scalloped potatos with spam

THAT is southern fried poor cooking.

My dad fries it up til it's crispy....then slathers ketchup on bread and makes a spam sandwich. He actually made me take a bite of that the other day when i stopped by the house and it wasn't bad. Just had to not think about what i was eating.
