I saw the film for the first time when I was in Omaha. I thought it was wonderful and like you, Snooze, I fell in love with it. I din't realise it was Donovan singing.
Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answers...Rainer Maria Rilke

I saw this in my teens too, and loved it.

Come to think of it, some of the films I saw then remain my favourites......The Wicker Man, The Seventh Seal, Seven Samurai......

Hmmm, perhaps I should have gone to more parties........;)

What is this Harrold and Maude of which you speak? Never heard of that one.

I also remember (vividly) seeing St Sebastian - there was a lot of gossip about it at school, so I watched it. It was vageuly disappointing....:D

I also remember watching a feminist film called (I think) The Silence - it was set in The Netherlands I believe and followed the stories of several women who had been abused, beaten, raped by guys. One of them then took to brutally murdering them in revenge. Oh yes, I had such fun!;)

One of my particular favourites was Labyrinth, starring David Bowie and Jennifer Thingymabub - but only because Bowie was wearing these very revealing jodphur things.......
