Hi From Wendy in Alberta Canada!
Hello everyone, my name is Wendy, I'm 46 years old, happily married for over twenty of those years now. No kids I'm afraid just four legged hairy children, our dogs.
I love to read, I watch way to much tv and I'm currently working on my second novel. I found this board because the board that I usually went to was becoming to superificial for me. I like to discuss whats going on in the real world and not hide my head in the sand or just think that buying the next hot outfit will make me happy.
I like to have spirited debate and am not afraid to speak my opinion even if it may not be prefectly pc all the time. I'm looking forward to meeting new friends here on this board!

Wendy....bad news
Im frivolous, superficial, shallow, shoal, featherbrained, flighty, harebrained, giddy, dizzy, scatterbrained, skittish and yeasty with occasional bouts of head burying in the sand.
Nice to meet ya ! :-6

Hi From Wendy in Alberta Canada!

Hiya Wendy & welcome to FG.
Did you know (& you probably did!) that J.M.Barrie invented the name Wendy for the eldest girl in his novel 'Peter Pan'? The name didn't exist before that point.
So tell us, what is the title of your second novel. Can you discuss what its about?
And tell us all about your first novel - title, publisher, what it's all about and what inspired you to write it. that'll keep you busy! hehehe
Do you write within one particular genre?
Any tips for budding writers on here? Acc needs to be given some encouragement to publish his novel "The Unsung Heroes of Hurricane Katrina!"
I look forward to reading your comments on the forum. :-6

Hi From Wendy in Alberta Canada!
Hi Wendy, welcome to FG!:)
Hi From Wendy in Alberta Canada!
Thanks to everyone who has been kind enough to welcome me. I'm at a loss here I'm afraid. This is more advanced than my other board:( how do I reply to each of you? Or do I? Help! My computer illiteracy is showing...what can I say? I mostly use word and not that well...
Rapunzel...I'm afraid that my first novel sat in my desk drawer for almost ten years. I finally got the courage to give it to a lady to edit it (I write like I talk, grammer is not my best friend) then I'm going to send it somewhere...where I don't know. I hear the best way to go is through a literary agent but there aren't many of those floating around small town Alberta. I'm whats called a ''chicken writer'' I write but I'm too chicken to send it away...

Well if u mean reply to individual posts then u just click the 'quote' button next to that post, and then you will be able to reply to it, just like I have done with yours.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the welcome and for wishing me luck...somedays are easier than others. My hubby just recently switched to night shift so that has me all screwed up...:-3 I'm trying not to make noise during the day so he can sleep...I'm so quiet I end up sleeping myself then running around like a chicken with my head cut off for the rest of the day!

Ooooo not got to Briain yet, I go in May, I am going on holiday. I will be meeting Raven (FG member and long time friend of mine) for the first time, and we are hooking up with a great number of FG members there for a day.
