So this afternoon we got our T4 tax forms in the interoffice mail. One of my staff comes running to my office making a big fuss because she didn't get one and someone else got two. She insisted that one of the other person's must be hers. Despite the fact that through the envelope window we can see the person's name and home address. I don't know how she concluded that one must be hers.
Another one of my staff asked me if we could reschedule his regular monthly meeting time with me from 4pm to earlier in the day because sometimes by 4pm he is tired. (Gee I'm sorry to hear that).
I don't have time for this kind of stuff. Am I just in a bad mood, or are these people wacko?

A tiny little bit, thanks. The bottle of wine I picked up on the way home is helping. It should also help with the performance reviews I have to write tonight.

LP, you need to look at the positive side of things. When your employee asked to see you earlier in the day cause he was tiried, his desire was only to be able to give you his best and his internal clock is at its peak earlier in the day........
