The deaths of innocent Iraqis doesn't bother us? And you would know that for a fact...how exactly? Do you have any kind of proof? I'd love to see it.

As for falling, if we do, one hopes it will be directly over wherever you're posting from, squishing you like a bug. After all, I'm American and according to your logic, I won't care who I bring down with me.

Kash...How is it that you think just because we are not neighbors with Iran, they pose no threat with their nuclear weapons? Do you understand that they can have them aimed just about anywhere in the world, and they'll get there? Any country with nuclear weapons is a threat to any OTHER country. Your post makes no kind of sense at all.

Blanket assumptions like "Americans don't care about innocent Iraqi's" is just absurd. Since when could one person speak for an entire country?

Kash's post has a number of statements I'd like to address:

The Americans claim Iran has nucleur weapons, everyone knows Israel has nucleur weapons. Why not let both of them fight it out, Iran vs Israel.
First, it's spelled "Nuclear". Secondly, a nuclear war anywhere in the world will affect us all. Radiation will spread globally, causing a high incidence of radiation sickness. In addition, the fallout from a nuclear war would diminish much of the solar radiation reaching Earth, leading to the proverbial "nuclear winter".

Why does America have to wage war against Iran?
The last time I checked, America was NOT at war with Iran. Iraq, yes. Iran, no.

To kill a man, is to kill the whole of mankind. The Americans don't see that, they just see there own size in comparison to rest of the world, death of innocent Iraqis doesn't bother them. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
You're somewhat misquoting the Talmud on this. I'm not Jewish, but I believe the passage goes something like:

Respect human life. Every human being is an entire world. To save a life is to save that world entire. To destroy a life is to destroy an entire world. To help others live is a corollary of this principle.

If you quote religious scripture, please put it in its correct context.

Okay.. I can't even pretend to understand this one. Obviously someone has been reading and believing their own propaganda for way toooooo long.

I tell ya what. Why don't you come and visit me. That way you can learn the truth about the U.S. Yep.. come and see just how evil we are as a people.

Lastly.. I agree.. you do reap what you sow.. be careful though .. that comment can work in both directions.

Kash567, I am wondering if you live in the UK from your reference to Tony Blair. I am not Mr Blair's biggest fan but I would say this. If you are a muslim (or any other religion for that matter) in the UK you have a protection under the law in this country and I would say on the whole the response of the UK population towards muslims during this difficult time has been very tolerant.

Perhaps the freedoms we all have may be contrasted to those that would be enjoyed by say a chrsitian under Taliban controlled Afghanistan or indeed a Christian in Saudi Arabia or Iran.

The Uk and the USA both have many faults but a fundamental lack of tolerance (excepting rednecks in both countries) is not one of them. As I travel around the UK I see plenty of mosques, I wonder how I would get on if I tried to buils a synagogue or church in Pakistan.

A wholesale condemnation of the USA or it's allies is exactly the same in my book as a wholesale condemnation of Islam because of 9/11 neither helpful or constructive.

Finally in reference to "You reap what you sow" then that must be true for all races, religions and tyrannical despots worlwide.

Kash, tell you what instead of Pres Bush and Mr Blair let's have some of the muslim leaders. The royal Family of the house of Saud for example, a well known group of tolerant politicians. OR pick any of the other Muslim countries that do not have democracy. I for one would rather have our system with all it's flaws than the sort of intolerance practiced by hard line muslim clerics.

Although the Iraqi elections may be flawed it will send a shudder through the Middle East, why: because the religious leaders know that if people are allowed to choose freely the will reject fanaticism of every stripe.

You have had reasoned replies on this board and disagree with them, stop and think, would you have this right in a strict Mulsim country.

The fight is not against Islam, the fight is against terrorism, if the terrorists call them selves Muslim then so be it.

I have had some experience fighting the IRA, I was not fighting Catholics or the "Irish" per se.
