Do you give up something you really like or...



I've heard some people give up things like brussels sprouts...

My grandfather always gave up watermelons.....................:wah:

I am thinking of what to give up........................but not diet cokes!

alright, this is quite serious....to cook brussels sprouts, peel off the outer leaves, score the bottoms with an X...then saute in butter. (oh God please don't bump that thread!!)

Quite serious, yes....... so scoring with a K is unacceptable?

Giving up shrimp.......

easy choice since I'm allergic to them. :)



Brussel sprouts are fantastic. I grow them in my garden every year. Nothin' like fresh picked!

For Lent, Advent, whatever....I always give up smoking.

The fact that I don't smoke has really got nothing to do with it!

I don't do it when I say I won't....and besides which...it's the thought that counts! hehehe :wah:
