Car Salesmen

Do you love em or do you hate em?

I have had my share lately since spring and I tell ya they are all different.... post your stories of them here I bet many of you have had interesting experiences with them....

My fave is when my dad and I went in Sept of last year to meet with the KIA dealer.... first off he could not get my name right..... Second he asked my price range and immediately decided we could only try the bottom of the like cardboard box KIA the micorscopic.... newt.... ok I don't remember the car name because by now I would have walked out on the condecending jack ass..... thridly he would not allow my dad and I a test drive alone, (yeah a 70 year old man and his daughter are going to be a huge risk) sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, the sawed off slime ball jumps in the drivers seat of the "newt" and drives off, he roars across the main drag, into the industrial area, and quite literally flies over the railroad tracks and just gives'er down the road, and blamo slams on the brakes to prove the excelleration, the stability and the brakes, then he guns it again and takes a corner at breakneck speed. Now what the jerk failed to do..... was consider my father is 70 could his heart handled this recklessness, or better yet his back. I mean how stinking thought less. Finally I got to try the car out and didn't the weiner try and tell me how to drive.... fortunately my father is in the back seat, he turns on his cell phone and pretends to take a call, so I hustled us back to the dealership and dad BS's his way into a crisis phone call, and we leave, never to return, or recommend that dealership.

Anyone else???

My husband hates car salesmen. Fortunately for us our son is a car salesman. I just pray he is nice to all his customers. He has a whole wall of his office covered with salesman of the month plaques, so he must be doing something right. He sells Kia's, wish he had been your car salesman. He loves elderly gentlemen, always has. Guess he learned to respect them from his grandpa. He's been known while in the middle of a car sale if it becomes lunch time he asks them to lunch. If they have time they'll usually go. :driving:

sawed off slime ball....:yh_rotfl I am SO using that next time someone annoys me!!

I dunno, I only buy Hyundai and they're a great company to deal with! The first one we bought I was hugely pregnant with my daughter and they got concerned that we were there so late in the evening thru dinnertime so they ordered us pizza while the deal was completed!:)

But other companies I've dealt with before??! UGH! :yh_tongue

I have no problem with car salesman. I just hate going looking for a new car, in fact, it is one of my least favorite things to do. My last car was purchased totally online. I knew the make and model of car, color, options etc, and what I wanted to pay for it. Everything was finalized online and I went and picked the new car up. It was the best car buying experience I ever had.

No, but like you said, it demands a reply and attention, yeah?

I used to have a boss that had a nervous tick. My 1st day he was twitching his head like he was nodding for me to come over, so I did. He just kept doing it while I was standing there and I think he was wondering why I was standing there. The whole thing was just uncomfortable.
I AM AWESOME MAN
