you know how its gotta funny way of jumping up & booting you right in the face when you least expect it

well when it happens, your latest experience of it, what do you think, how does it make you feel?

tonight it happened to me & it was as if i could see into the future

i knew if i carried on the conversation i was having it would lead to trouble later on & yet the bizzarre thing was - i was the only person who could see it

all i wanted to do was leave the conversation/company as quickly as possible

everyone else wanted to party & i guess thought - 'why's butter leaving early, she's the party queen'

what can i say - i grew up!!!!

suppose my question is - why dident they?

There is no set timetable. Each of us operates on their own schedule. Sometimes this is why relationships fail -- you are just not moving along at the same pace.

Isn't it wonderful when you have that moment of "total clarity" and everything becomes crystal clear to you?

James Joyce first described it and called it an "Epiphany".

Welcome to your first(?) Epiphany, my dear.

We all occasionally have that moment of total and absolute clarity where everything becomes amazingly obvious and we wonder why on earth we never saw it before. Sadly, such moments are pretty rare. So enjoy it while it lasts.

Obviously no one else in the room had your clarity of vision at that moment, and so could not foresee any consequences.

BTW, were there any consequences from that conversation? Did you see the outcome correctly? or hasn't it happened yet? Just curious. ;)

no, hasent happened & will never happen rapunzel, i explained to my partner why i wanted to leave early, he thought i was being a bit paranoid but i wasent, it was crystal clear to me & still is

i made the right decision, there would have been trouble if we had stayed, the person concerned had quite a bit to drink & was getting 2 close for comfort

at the time it just seemed like i was psychic & could see exactly what would happen later had we stayed, so glad we never :D
