Is my cup of coffee good or bad?

Have they decided whether coffee is good for you, or bad for you? How much is too much? Has anyone got the update on this, you hear something different every time you turn around.:-5

Hi Taffy....welcome to FG.

Go to the 'Water and Coke' thread. I think we may be learning a bit about caffeine etc there. I drink around 12 cups of coffee a day, so I'm wondering the same as you.

The really bad thing is...most of the 12 are from the vending machine at work !

At least I start and end the day with a cup of good old english tea.

ooo Bezzy do you have to pay for that coffee? Here in Canadaland, coffee out of a vending machine is utter shite I hope yours is better.

Is coffee in the UK strong? I can't wait to try it. I love trying new coffee's

It's 10p per cup and I think it's 'nescafe'.....not too bad.

There is a huge selection of instant, filter, beans etc over here and there's loads of Starbucks, Neros etc in the towns...they tend to be quite expensive though.

My favourite is Expresso with a liberal helping of cream ....yum....keeping away from cream at the moment though...dieting for the wedding in June.

I like the strong coffee, love the way the folks form the middle east make it so a spoon stands up in it hehehehe

I love coffee but I can't drink it, it raises my anxiety levels so high I turn into a wreck, it makes me feel sick, shake and gives me 'the runs'.

I can drink coke though so that's weird isn't it
