New Golf Clubs

Post by cars »

Well I finally got my own set of Golf clubs yesterday. All this time I was using my friends spare set. But he needs them back for the end of the Month, when his grandson (a great golfer) is coming down here to visit him for 3 to 4 weeks.

Anyway my new clubs (well not "brand new", but all "12" clubs look new, cause I got them at "Play it again Sports") where I got what I thought was a good deal. Original cost new $300, & I got them for $100. And they threw in a $65 golf bag for free. :)

I tried them out on the "driving range" today, and boy for the most part they really worked great. But I may have to bring one back. Cause evey now & then something must have been wrong with the 5 iron, cause sometimes it made the ball slice to the right!!! :D

Good luck with the new clubs. Changing over to new clubs isn't easy. I want to return to the game this Spring. It's been a while since I've played. :-6

Thanks, & yes you're right SOJO, it is like starting all over again. But I just started to play golf & am still learning the game myself. So I'm still working on improving, so I can then be called a "Hacker" level!! :D

(Get back out there, you owe it to yourself!!! ;) )
