How you all doin'

Post by TheSwede »

Hey forum readers/writers.

I am a 31 year old married male. I currently work at TMMWV(Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia) on the 2nd shift 7:15pm-4:00am. So my hobbies are restricted to how tired i am  But i love to spend time with my 3 boys 5,3,1 years of age. I will soon get a new hobby with the arrival of my motorcycle on Saturday other than that, I am a rookie gardener with my first garden started last year was a dissaster :o but alittle bit smarter i will try again this year :D I also enjoy computer programming and building computers on my sparetime. Well i dont know what else to write down so i stop right here by saying hi to everyone.

G'day TheSwede and welcome to the ForumGarden. There's some great folks in here (and then there's the others - who refuse no matter what the heck I do to let me get the last word in the thread of that name TLW!!! I mean geesch, don't they ever sleep). But I digress... you'll find everything here from deep and meaningful discussion of life, the universe, and issues of all sorts. Then there's arcades to play games in, cafes to drink coffee in and Bothwells pub where some irresponsible people sometimes even dance on the piano.. hic. Gotta run back and defend my TLW last word territory... it's two weeks now since I've dared take time out to sleep.... lest I get snuck up on... I need coffee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice people mrsK, except when they fly the noble Aussie flag over the FG badlands... sorry TheSwede - I know this is a meet and greet thread, and it's great to see you, but my fellow Aussies are out of line here, and I'm deeply shocked. Grin... I promise to line you up a cold tinnie of Fosters in Bothwell's pub, OR buy you a coffee in the Brekkie cafe (your choice) very soon, to make up for this.

Hiya Swede and welcome to FG! *waves*

Can I ask you a stupid question? (sorry bout this :o )

Your location says you're from Winfield, WV, which surely has to be in the US, although I can only think of Wyoming and I know that's not right! (I'm a dur-brain - and my brain's not awake yet! )

So my question is...if you're from the US, how come you're called Swede?

I thought Americans called a swede a ruttabaya or ruttabaga or bagarutta or something like that? Actually I think my brain is starting too melt from overuse and I'd better wash it out with some coffee before that last braincell gets melted!

Ooh! Sudden thought! Unless you're from Sweden? That could be it.

See, even the promise of coffee helps my brain defrazzle a little!

Anyway, enjoy the garden. I hope your patch of garden is nice and sunny. My garden's a mud bath from a week of constant rain!

I have a Yaris...nice 'baby car' for getting round in the UK...the first time I've had a Toyota and the best car I've ever had.

Hope you come back soon ...

Hi Swede. welcome to the forum. Should be something to keep you interested. And don't forget the pub when nyou just want some general fun. Not forgetting the games where certain members remain and ignore the rest of us.

Well I do live in the US in the gorgeous state of West Virginia. I was born and raised in Sweden and moved here(States) in 2000 after "seeing" a woman online for about 6 months and had a blind date in Florida for 2 weeks we havent been apart since then now as you can see we have 3 boys and life is just getting better.

At Toyota im working in the Transmission part of the plant in the Quality Control department where we make sure the transmission are good enough to send out to our customers. We take them apart put them togheter, repair issues with no good parts interesting job actually.
