One word for ya, Far, ol' buddy ol' pal: TIVO

Then you can roll back and catch what you missed!!

As for the timing thing... guilty as charged, yer honor! Don't know why

I did it but at least I try not to make the same mistake twice!!

If yer a wife please explain this to me....

Timing is everything...

Kids and I were watchin a show, Vicky was up in the kitchen... we're all havin a good time, harmony in tha Far home... at the critical moment of the movie, right when we're gonna find out how it all ties together.... My wife comes in and asks me a question... and in answering her I missed the whole thing... then when my attention was returned I had to ask my son what happened......

This happens with impeccable timeing..

Why? Why ladies do ya have to ask a question at the criticial juncture in a movie?

Well Far.....you ask "Why"??? I would have to say it's the same reason all you hubbies find a paper, go into the bathroom and "checkout" of reality for 20 minutes right when we need you the most!!!!!! It never fails around here, when my husband becomes useless in that little room with the fan on (to drown out any outside noise), it's right when 99 things all happen at once, the kids are screaming, phone ringing, doorbell......you know.....lol No hard feelings!!

LOL.....ok ok i understand!!! But speaking of "when" ......it really is the most inconvenient times. For example....we'll go out for dinner and like clockwork my hubby has to go right after he eats (he's like a puppy).....so where I was hoping for the "family Walmart excursion", he's gotta go HOME to POOP!! And that kills the evenings plans. One way this often works in my favor though, is he will say.. "Oh just take us home (him/3 kids) and you can go back out!! " Ahhhhhhh.....the stay home mom's fantasy.....total unrestricted time out in Target or Walmart aisle AFTER dinner!!!!! Nobody timing your every move, no kids begging for everything in site. Nobody crying to leave the store. LOL

Ps...sorry i got on a rant....i have been changing diapers since 1996....just got the 3 yr old totally trained!!!!!
