Making money from your computer - true or false?

There seems to be no end of small ads in both national and local papers telling people they can make money this way or that by using their computer. Can you make as much money as is claimed - £500.00+ per month part time, or is it, as I suspect, pie in the sky rubbish where all they want is your regristration/set up fee? I know there are pages and pages of such ads on the net, but has anybody out there found one at actually works?

Nope never heard of one that worked, heard of lots that don't.. If it sounds to good to be true it usually is..

The only way to make money from your computer at homes would be if your job allows the freedom to work from home.. other than that not sure its worth the risk.....!! :-5

The most ridiculous one I ever got sucked into was where you had to buy a pack of pre-printed ads telling people how to make money. You the paid for those ads to be put into news shop windows, and for every sucker who bought the scheme from you, you'd get nowhere enough to cover your initial cost, and he'd have to do the same in his area - nobody was selling anything! That was the quickest £30.00 ($50.00) I ever lost - rubbish!

I think if it was that easy to make money we would then we would never leave the house. I think these are mostly just scams.

The only jobs I've seen were you work from home and make some money at is ebay.
