Do you support any? Always curious...

and Breast Cancer Research

Those are the two I'm "regular" with

The Police Athletic League and the Sherrif's Office.

They both give you a sticker to put in your window that wards off getting pulled over. Totally worth it!:D

I've been thinking of doing that... I should get off my butt and just do it, huh?

Well with the crowd I do it with they send you a picture etc so you feel you are reaching someone. It's nice :-4

Anyway, do you send your child letters and things?

No because it's hard to get them to the right person. The money helps the most. They build wells and schools and provide food and clothing etc from the money.

Mainly the Imperial Cancer Fund but also the RNLI – the British Lifeboat institute. The latter fund all the lifeboats around the UK coast with only a couple of exceptions that are fully funded by local subscriptions,

I make a deliberate point of avoiding ANY contribution to ANY charity that gives cash to overseas countries with the one exception being Israel.

Providing ‘aid’ to overseas countries is pointless. It props up what should be let ‘wither on the vine’ or subsides wars. Nature should be left to take its course in both cases and for that reason I intensely detest our government giving ‘overseas aid’ and especially to African nations.
