This weekend is my 28th birthday and I'm feeling down. It's not that I feel I'm getting old. Just that another year has gone by and I haven't done anything with my life.

Of course you've done something with your life....sit down and write a list....we can't all be famous, invent things, be brain surgeons etc....all us little people doing everyday things make the world go round. Your'e a kind and lovely person and soooooo YOUNG

Awww Sheryl remember your life is what you make of it. Like suggested go on and do something just for you for your birthday. It's worth it, you deserve it. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the "necessities" of life, work, bills, family etc we don't do something for "me". It feels good to indulge so go for it. And as for accomplishments what have you got in mind? What would you like to accomplish and what stops you from doing so???? Just grab the bull by the horns and do it.

It's hard to say what it is I want. Darn it, tearing up. I used to be a happy cheery, don't give a flying f*** what others thought of me person. Did my own thing and that was that. But that was destroyed a few years ago, and I'm still trying to recover. It's hard because I don't feel like I know myself.

It's hard sometimes... but we see the inner you on here... and it's a beautiful sunny person.

Sheryl...on New years Eve, I was as low as I'd been for years...and pi$$ed as well

...One of our friends here told me "swimming in lake 'me' is a bad place to be". My circumstances haven't changed (yet) but whenever I find myself dipping my foot in the lake, I think of what he told me and step back. If you want to get stuff off your chest, PM any one of us because we've all been there and in some cases are still battling our demons. :-4

Sheryl, I remember my 25th birthday... many moons ago. I bawled my eyes out! Ever since then, I've cherished each birthday. I'm proud of what I've done & where I am today. I've done it all by myself! Don't look at the negatives, it'll make ya grow old before your time. Think of all your accomplishments! Where would people be if not for you? That should bring a smile to your face! Hugs to ya, Hon! Ughh I have really gone off the deep end with you guys today. I don't like being "poor me", because I know that there are million more people out there with a similiar story, some are even worse.

I hope that doesn't sound mean, I'm not trying to be. It's just that I feel I don't deserve to have the feelings.

Being distraught can block you from achieving your goals. Dont waste a lot of time suffering like I always have..... Like the other girls say.. Get out there and live.

Yes you can minksy.... we all should use it for a spell.. I unfortunately, dont know how to put it there.. It would be great to see it EVERYWHERE!!!!!! I tend to forget.
