Or not... :wah:

OK I'll get you started with a few vital statistics.

32

Female

Married. Though not the conventional kind.

I like lobster more than I like air. I just don't get it as much.

I hate arrogant people with a passion, though with not quite the same passion as I feel about Collingwood FC. Go Pies!! :wah:

I live in Qld, and I hate the beach.

I'm a MAC user. :lips:

Come on.... so so bored there has to be someone awake...

I'm a GM for a large charity here in Queensland. I do boring sit at my desk stuff most days. I'm relatively new in the role, before that I was in marketing and business development and events at the same place.

Maybe with a child or two, adopted, probably from China. :) Hopefully not working full-time, and hopefully healthy!

Everybody keeps talking about global warming creating all our super hurricanes. I have a theory that Americans are so much fatter than everybody else, we've knocked the earth's rotation all wobbly, which is churning the oceans. What do you think? :yh_glasse

Thus our motto: "E Pluribus Unum" which was first muttered by Ben Franklin at one of the Constitution Convention dinners. Rumor has it he was speaking with his mouth full, and had actually said "Please pass the sweet onions."

In short yes. We have a bunch of "rules" to make it workable and it works, but in short yes, we can if we choose to, sleep with other people.

Wow, not sure I could do that!

I'd be so jealous, and I guess I feel that if someone truly loved me then they wouldn't want anyone else??

I'm curious about these rules now!!

And can you list your measurments, I'm only askin for my buddy Clipper who's not around today, but if he was here he'd be wonderin.

My question is simple... why don't ya like the beach?

Hmm... there have been so many good ones it's incredibly difficult to pinpoint just one. I guess if I had to it'd be this one because I'm getting so old it's becoming hard to remember the others. :wah:

To be totally honest I have no idea what my measurements are. :-2 I'm 168cms tall and I weigh 49kgs if that helps?

The beach is full of nasty things like.... seaweed, swimming critters, and worst of all... sand. I swear that stuff gets in places sand has absoloutely NO business being in!

That's a common thought. I'm of the belief that monogamy just isn't natural. I think it's something we can strive for and make promises on, but ultimately, I think it's unnatural and somewhat unfair to expect one person to be able to meet your needs for a lifetime.

As humans, we change and we grow, and we're curious. I love my husband more than I thought it possible to love someone, and we have a wonderful relationship. I can't stand seeing married couples out together, say at dinner, and they're sitting at the table and they just have nothing left to say to each other. They grow apart in an effort to stay together and I think that has a lot to do with the expectation that you will be the sole provider of every need for the other person for the remainder of their days.

I don't believe it has anything to do with love but more to do with sex. Love and sex don't always go hand in hand, in fact in my experience pre open marriage, the two rarely go hand in hand.

It's not a situation for everyone I agree. For one, you have to be very secure in your relationship and what you have. That's not an easy thing to do unquestionably.

I have to say that more recently I have been wondering if people can only love in the moment. I agree with you that people do grow and change, relationships change.

But what does confuse the issue for me is people who have met their soul mates, how do they manage to make it through all the changes?

I do know I could not have more than one partner at a time, I wouldn't get jealous if they were just chatting and flirting, but if I knew they'd had 'intamacy' I'd be geen with envy. I'd also be worried sick he preferred her to me!

I think the trick to loving for a long long long moment is working hard at it. Sustaining a relationship isn't like the movies. It doesnt just happen on it's own. As for soul mates, you got me there coz i think there's a lot more than one and they are on different levels as well. I think in my life I've met at least three who would fit into the soul mate category. Maybe I'm just lucky though! :wah:

As for jealousy, it's not an emotion I've actually ever experienced in my whole life even when I wasn't in an open marriage. I'm not sure why.

Did you get married in a church, civil ceremony?? I guess I'm just old fashioned but marriage to me means commitment to one person.

Each to their own though and if you're happy then thats fine, I wish you luck!:)

I'm pretty sure wedding ceremonies are mostly overrated excuses to spend lots of money and be the centre of everyone's attention for a day. As long as it's special to you I don't think it matters if you do it in the street outside your local pub. :-4
