Hi, I'm Samantha and I'm a gardenaholic. There, I did it, I got started.

I've been lurking for a few days and I like what I see, so I joined. I'm anioux to learn my way around and meet some interesting people -- or not.

I love the bunny rabbit conisgirl!! Do you have pet bunnies? What does conisgirl mean? I suppose I could go look in that thread somewhere that explains names. . . if I can find my way out of here.

4Rum, thank-you for the kind offer of a sammich. . . or was it an offer? In any event I actually had a roast beef, with swiss, tomato, hot peppers, washabi, on some yummy multi grained bread for dinner.

Ok Ill take my chances and guess. Lets see, your really doing 15-20 yrs in Folsom Prison for kidnapping and aggravated assault. Your cellmate is your "fiance" (so to speak) and you like crossword puzzles.

Gee that was flattering!! I couldn't have made up better myself. Good to see a sense of humor. Now, it I WAS in jail, what would it be for? Probably for beating the tar out of someone who abused an animal. . .more like turning them into a bloody pulp. . . (I'm a soft touch for critters)

I haven't done crossword puzzles in ages, I'm on the computer too much.

Snooze, I am really happy to hear of your work with animals. I would take that kitty in a heart beat but you see, I already have two special needs cats. One is diabetic and needs insulin shots every 8 hours. The other has idiopathic cyctitis and needs Elavil twice a day. My bill to sustain just these two is about $200 a month. My DH is not too pleased but I will not put them down as long as they are happy and doing well. When I have a good pay month, I will donate to your cause. Good for you. :-6

Thanks Snooze. . . I do what I can. At my last BD party my DH threw for me, we had all "gifts" made out to ASPCA. I got almost $300.00 for them. I have 4 cats and all were rescues. The one that's on Elavil was left in our old condo. She was scared to death. We had to trap her. I don't know what they did to her but I couldn't touch her for a couple months. I would just sit on the floor and talk to her while she ate. It took a year before she'd come and get in my lap. NOW, she's a big old wuss. . . want's to be in my lap all the time. She even lets other people pet her. That was/is a huge reward to me.
