Far - you had me at the word romance! But then I haven't seen much of my man in the last year.

I think your plan sounds fabulous!

It is ok, Far. We spent an hour online today, chatting in naughty innuendo! :D

Personally, though, I don't think it matters so much what you do but that you put forth the effort. My ex husband put forth absolutely no effort into romance. He just expected me to be "in the mood" when he was.

This ol cowboy is feelin romantic tonight....

And I just wanna know what it means to you when you get ta feelin the same...

Picture this if you will, then let me know if that'd set you in the mood for feeling romantic too or would ya still be too busy for such nonsense?

I'm gonna write this up as if youre my girl so slip your guy in my place and play along...

.... I come home from work and whisk in quietly behind you and slide my hand on your hips and sides, kissing you gently in the back of the neck, whisper I love you... and move my hand in yours... I hear the words you say about being busy and getting this and that done but I ignore you and you can tell I have a plan so you go with it... soon we are on a walk, I steal glances over at you, smiling conveying with my expression that I want to be with you right now... the path is a trail, and the evening air is fresh with rain, along a pathway of evergreens with ferns carpeting the forest floor... gentle conversation, our hands held loosley alowing movement but tight enough to make us feel attached... we stop in front of a stand of tall trees and looking out over the ocean view, exchange a soft romantic kiss...

This is what pm's are for Romeo. :D

You must be doing something right after all the years you have been married and she melts like butter when you touch her. ;)

Romance is daily affection. When you are in each others presence it's shown by a smile, a touch, a hug or lil squeeze. It's flirting all the time...just for the fun of it and it makes the kids go ewwwww! :wah: It's spontaneously sending her flowers or calling her out of the blue...just to say I was thinkin' about you and I love you. It's anything you want it to be that involves communicating your love for one another and keeping that flame burning. :-4

Is this the feed back you were looking for?

Far, the effort is what matters. Just knowing you still turn your man on and that he wants you is stimulating in itself. Getting the message to her that you find her sexy and are feeling frisky is as erotic as any physical act. We love to know we are looked at with lust even after all this time. You are doing just fine, trust me.

Is it warm in here?

Holy cow there for minute thought Far was off his rocker and gonna give us to many details. :sneaky:

I think it's great though that you still like to romance your wife. Shows you love her and wanna be with her. Do you give lessons?

Just kiddin!

Well... To me its very important I suppose, but hey... its about knowing each other too... isnt it? Reading when the most opportune time is.

when to slide your hand in hers, when to lean in, when to kiss and how... etc.

Can I be Ms. December, then I can hide behind a Christmas tree. :wah:

Often times, I think when a woman complains her man isn't romantic, it isn't that he isn't romantic, it's that he fears rejection yet again. There should be no such thing as being too busy when it comes to romance. Just go with the flow and enjoy.:)

Dang is the thermostat broken? someone open a window, it's getting HOT in here! ;)

ahhhhh, the ladies answered just as I would. Regarding the calendar, I'd have picked December cause it's my birth month and my favorite time of year. But since September is also taken, I'd like October... cool crisp air, nice windy walks in the woods...

and Far? You seemed to have been asking a question in your initial post. I'mnot sure what it was. Did you get your answer?
