And there were the thingmakers, and esy bake ovens.

But I think I liked the bicycles the best!

I had a gold Stingray, with a Leopard skin Banana seat, high rise handle bars and a sissybar with a peace sign on it.

And did Laramie make it to the 60s? I fell in love with the youngest brother, can't remember his name although one of the brothers was called Jess.

Definitely subtract "The Waltons" from your 60s reminiscing. The Waltons were first introduced in a 1971 TV movie called "The Homecoming", about a depression-era family (the Waltons, of course) who were about to celebrate Christmas with, of course, dodging their usual share of family dramas. That movie, however, made way for the TV series "The Waltons" which aired from 1972 to 1981 or so. There were also a few TV movies centering around the Walton family which were offshoots of the TV series, but all aired well after the 1960s were already history. So, the TV series "The Walton's" really should not be included in 1960s nostalgia.

It seems some are putting what they remember while others are putting what they know happened in the 60s, so not sure I get the intent of the thread...I was really young so only remember a few TV shows and a little of my pre-school/elementary school. Thankfully I was too young to remember much of anything about nam or hippies or LSD or much of the general lunacy of those times.
