Morel mushrooms

Went and found some morels this morning.

First pic is for identification...this what they look like.

Second pic is part of preparation...split them in half ...then rinse thoroughly in salted water. I like to let them sit refrigerated in salt water overnight, then rinse again.

Third pic is after they have been shaken in a mixture of 50/50 yellow corn meal and flour...also add just a touch (teaspoon) of dry taco mix seasoning.

Fourth pic is 'shrooms sauteeing nicely in butter with a little salt and black pepper.
