The Jetsons were a twenty-first century family. George and Jane were the parents, and Judy and Elroy were their children. In what housing complex did the family live?

Pam comes in all fresh from assorted fertility dances - that mincey Morris stuff (hee hee LC) and the stag-in-rut Highland Fling thingie) - spies the unseemly behaviour of Accountable and badangelcat Snooze and decides to get her personal butler to turn the hose on them!! For the greater good, of course!

NOw it is the 17th of April. Tomorrow is a scary day. Actually the 19th is. But I was asked why April 19th was a day for violence and finally I sort of figured it out.

On the 18th of April in "75"

Hardly a man is now alive

Who can remember that fateful day

My memory fails me now but on that day a man went up onto the bell tower to watch for the Brits and it was in the early morning hours when they appeared and the battle for independence began. Since then there have been numerous anti government fights happened on that day. Such as the Waco TX fight and the Ruby Ridge incident where the government attacked some people in a farmhouse for illegal weapons and of course the Murrah Building bombing in Oklahoma City. but these are just a few of the things that happened on that date. It was also the date the Contras and the Sandinistas signed a truce.

G'day LC, Okie. I'll never forget Murrah. All those chairs in the memorial park - some big, some heartbreakingly little.

Nomad - I'm playing tag with you!! Like your words.. I guess many words are evocative in some way, and carry some memory special to each of us. As I walked out in the early cold I smelled woodsmoke.. that's one of my good words - and yet, bushfires are deadly and frightening here..

Nomad - is Random - without the R

I've always wondered why you chose that name. For me it is full of memory echoes. As are words like wanderer, pilgrim, searcher, quest, on the road...

I had my first tooth pulled today at 58. It was a damn nightmare the tooth didn't want to come out, one root had attached to the bone it was like something you seen in a comedy sketch the doctor with a foot on your shoulder with a pair pliars pulling the tooth out.

I litterally felt like they all were going to come out. Never again. I thought it would be no big deal so I just had local numb you up shots, well that took about 15 shots to numb my mouth up. When they first started I could feel it.. so I said stop more shots... :-5 I got there at 1:45pm finally left there at 4:15pm less one tooth.. The tooth couldn't be saved it had a crown on it that had major decay under it so I had no other alternative. I though I didn't need to be knocked out, boy was I wrong. I have to wait 8 months to have an implant. I was litteraly shaking when I left there I still have my wisdom teeth so I had no idea what was involved in pulling a tooth..

Well that was my Friday, time for some Vicodine and bed hope I don't have tramatic nightmare about this day.. :-3

my cats are being lazy. Lilo just had kittens so I'm sure she's tending them. And last I saw of Ice his fat butt was asleep on my bed.

Onyx has decided he doesn't like us anymore and has moved to my neighbors house :wah:
