Why are the brits so arrogant?

I fail to understand, why the british people have got so much "arrogance and pride", that they feel as though they are Superior and the best in every way possible to anyone else in the world!!! In reality, they really dont have "much at all" to be proud of...

In my opinion "one" of the few things they are experts in doing, is thinking about Sex (e.g. A purversed attitude towards sex), getting drunk (so that they dont have to hold an intelligent conversation), and make all other RACES feel like their not even worthy of themselves..

More importantly, "PORTRAYING AN ENORMOUS ACT OF ARROGANCE AND UN-NECCESSARY PRIDE!!").

There is a lot more to life then just Sex. (As per "most" Women)

Love "aint" all about sex "or" colour "or" sexual organ sizes. It includes things like, 'being caring', and 'nice' to others as well (Not only "YOURSELVES"), and MIXING IN (interacting) witrh 'everyone'...

HINT: Learning from others, might be a good starting point..

"What would you do without us? ("Indians are treated like crap in the UK, when most of the UK's economy is actaully brought up by us")

Trust me, people here wouldn't be where they are today, if it werent for us !!!

The "only" bad thing Indians have ever done, is, won their country's independence, thats all, and ever since, people have always been pinched in one way or another of us!!

Whenever, the brits travel abroad, they are treated like Kings and Queens, but in their own country as a form of appreciation treat people like "S**t".

I really fail to understand that.

In my opinion, people should start working harder, so that, they can (equally) keep their families, friends, partners etc etc etc happy, just like we do, and drop the arrogance that sometimes, 'if not' all the time people seem to think will get them far!! And lastly LEARN a 'thing or two' from external influences..

Trust me, one of the main reasons why people dont really get too far in life here, is purely because of what they are like and how they are brought up..

In reality, no one has got the time to go around influecing a single-fraimed typical kind of crowd. Everyone is virtually the same, and should get the message.

I have enough friends, and in no short fall for any, its a pity, that people cant make an effort to be culturally mixing in, and i could go on and on....

nope, carry out as in carry out meal generally known as an indian carryout or take away. a kerry oot is something you might get from the off licence to enjoy with the carry out. It's a nice change from the fried mars bars, black puddings and other staple foods we normally live on. Big macs are bland fare in comparison.

Most of the older Indians who came over in the 1950's are actually very polite and have tried hard to fit in with our way of life. (It being our country, after all!!)

It is only the younger, newer immigrants who are so rude. When I lived in London they were completely rude and mannerless, always pushing to the front of queues (queueing being a Great British Institution, BTW!

) never saying please or thankyou, etc.

My daughter used to sit next to an Indian boy in class and came home with nits every single week! Every week I'd spend Ã‚£12 on a bottle of nit lotion and spend hours cleaning the little buggers out of her hair. Sometimes even twice a week. I complained constantly to the teacher who refused to let her change places and who said that in India, nits are a way of life and not considered to be 'dirty' which is why this boy's parents never de-loused him! Since she moved to a new school she has been completely nit-free!

Shall I look to see if I have any de-lousing lotion at the back of my cupboard still?

It might get rid of this giant nit! :p
