What Would You Do If You Are To Win $10 Million In The Lottery

In life we all have our hopes our dreams, which in some cases can be met with the right amount of money. I think ten million dollars ain't a bad sum to begin with, so share with us what you would do if you own ten million dollars. Let me begin with myself.

If I am to win 10 million dollars, I hope to establish a school for the less previleged in my locality and also drill a number of bore holes to boost water supply which is a problem to many in my area. I'll equally use part of the money to visit a few countiries like Canada, U.S.A., Japan, Singapore, U.K., and France as a fulfillment of a lifetime dream and afterwards set a large scale farm and be a big time farmer exporting agricultural products.

So its now your turn to tell us what you'd do if you are to win ten million dollars

I have a list in my head of people I would sit down and write checks for right away. Mother, father. sister. sons grandchildren. some friends. I would give them each enough money to enable them never to worry. I also have a mental list of those who I would never give a dime to, Then I would go to see a financial advisor.I would need to be told what to do with the money, to insure that I would always have enough to live. I would go live in a little cottage in the country.

The cottage would have a loft, a huge bath tub. a fireplace. and ceiling to floor windows. I would live there.. read, paint. gardem sew and plan trips to everywhere.

Very interesting Weeder, but I couldn't help laughing when you mentioned about the list of those who wouldn't get a dime. Well I hope I'm not on that list (he he he).

If I won $10 million, I probably would die of a heart attack and not get to enjoy a penny of it!

In the event I live, I'd buy a house with lots of land, a van for hubby, a car for me. I'd build a house with it's own wing for my mother so she could have her privacy and still be with me. Noone in either of our families would want for anything. I'd donate a large sum to our local VFW. Once I moved into my newly built home, with all of it's brand new furniture and appliances, I'd have a contest where people would tell me why they deserve a fully furnished house, and give my present house to the winner. I'd have to do something with it, wouldn't need the money, so why not give it to someone who needed it?

first I would give healthy sums to my brother and sis in law, then my parents. Buy a house and set up my oldest daughter financially. Put away equally that amount for my youngest daughter. Pay of the Bf's house. Then I would travel till the money was all gone. Period. Selfish indeed. But what the heck it is my life dream to see so many places. First place I would go and she knows it.... Visit Raven hehehehehe

$10 million...First I would buy a large house with a huge yard. I'd get a fixer-upper because I love doing that kind of thing. Then I'd hire a maid to live with me full-time to take care of the house. I'd get a golden retriever puppy. I'd garden in my spare time. I'd have more spare time because I wouldn't have to cook and clean.

I'd keep my job, and keep going to school. I'd set up a decent retirement package for myself, nothing huge, just a modest income.

I'd divide the remaining money up between my sister, my mom, and my kids.

First thing I'd do is invest. Take 5 million and turn it into another 10 million. Sound greedy? I have LOTS of plans for that money! 4 kids to send to college, first off. Then I would buy my dad a house, buy my mom and step dad a house in Florida, (their home here is paid off already), pay off my sister's mortgage and move her if she wanted to move, pay HER son's college, (he's one of the 4), buy a piece of property and build a boarding kennel for dogs, (a lifelong dream of mine), build my fiance a blues bar for him to run, buy us a house and whatever motorcycles we wanted, lots of property, build a huge pole barn so the fiance could build bikes, and another big barn to keep all the animals I'd own. The list could go on, but I'm getting depressed... :yh_rotfl

I have reached the age and asset level where world travel, housing, food, clothing, medical needs, entertainment & recreational needs (within reason) is not a problem. After satisfying my urge to purchase a lot of electronic equipment that I really don't need, I would set up a Foundation similar to Bill Gates (considerably smaller of course) that would provide scholarship money to Inner City kids that met some predetermined criteria. Only the income off of the principal would be used.

If i won $10 million firstly i would faint with shock, then jump around like a mad woman. When it comes down to spending the money i would buy my gran a bungalow any where she wanted, i would donate some to charity, then i would spend spend spend. :p

I would also get a Prius is that the right spelling for Toyota's hybred? As well as a Pontiac GTO.

Would go on a road trip and give out some nice tips. Then I would go home and find out what the wife wants to do with the rest of the money:)

Every animal I've ever owned was a rescue. It's really a great way to go. The best dog I ever had was abandoned.

I would give to my favorite charities... one being the actress Tippi Hedren's

ROAR foundation, which takes care of mainly big cats. I met Tippi years ago,

and she is a dedicated and sweet person who I would like to help out.

Since my mom has Alzheimer's and my father-in-law "suffered" (truly the word)

from it, I would give a large portion to alzheimer's research.

I would give some to taking care of the heffalumps in Tennessee, the wolves

wherever, the giant pandas, and, like anastrophe, german shepherd rescue.

I would probably like to give some to small farmers, who lose out oftentimes

to big conglomerates, to probably anyone who has had a farm in the family

for a hundred years but are now failing.

I would give some to supporting all the colts born from the PMU projects,

mainly in Canada.

And lastly, I would save a nice sum, but not huge, to get myself and my husband

a nice little place somewhere with a little bit of land, where I can finally have

a horse again, and maybe a bit of garden, and maybe a small milk cow... and

a plow for my garden. And maybe a root cellar.

Another thing that would be fun would be to see how long I could keep from telling my wife that I wone the lotto:)

And of course I could tell administration what I really think of them with out fear of retaliation as I would no longer need my just over broke job:)

And when we lose in Colorado it goes to the parks and recreation.

Some say that Lottos are a tax for people who are bad at math.

I also play Mc Lotto. Well that is what I call it when Mc Donalds runs their games. Then if you lose you still get food.
