Personal opinion here, I think most of the back masking that was claimed to have taken place was a joke. Back in the 70's when this was a huge "concern" for parents, (insert eye-roll here) these musicians were too tweaked out to have the brain power to put things like that together. While I do agree that some exists, the majority of it is bible-thumping whackos trying to see a "Devil's Message" in classic rock and roll.

Up until the age of 13 I hadn't really heard heavy metal. We moved house and I started going to our local youth club. I came home one day singing some. I remember my parents faces. :) The funniest thing was the day we played some to my nan she really loved Guns N Roses November Rain. Eventually my dad even requested G n R while on holiday.....times must and always do change.
