Anyone here ever studied this? I ask because I've been reading up on it over the past few weeks and it's truly intriguing and I'd like to have a conversation if there's anyone out there....

The "Tree of Life" is one approach, the Zohar/Ladder is another, then there's areas related to astrology and to hidden meanings within texts (numerology, or Gematria). If you start out by discussing what you've read that sparked your interest, we can build from there.

As in all aspects of knowledge, I'm happy to admit my status to be that of a mere neophyte scratching at the unopened door. I do know there's at least one poster on FG with the right background to take up the thread if it develops, though, and that she's offline until the weekend.

Spot considers rolling up a newspaper and chastizing Amie over his knee until she repents of her manifold wickednesses, but decides to walk to the shops instead.

Keep on reading about Kabbalah girl! But find some book by Sholem. Also good in introductory is Zev Ben Shimon Halevi - also from Australia I think. Zohar is a great reading. Jewish mysticism made me look on a Bible in a new way. Strong messages!:-6

Kabbalh is IMO a mediocre adaptation of Alchemy.

It may be arcana, but that's no reason why you should be so knowledgeable-yet-uninformative.

I would certainly like to learn more about it. My reading has not taken me in that direction and with failing eyesight I am reading as much as I can in theology, biblical history, and history of the Bible and church itself.

Some posts of information would be appreciated if anyone has time.

Shalom
