Well what it is called is an angioplug, and it will eventually disolve away, but my dr. told me that there were a few stitches as well as in my brochure that they gave me it says that they use stitches that will disolve.

But they told me they have less problems with the plug and faster recovery than before when they would put a sand bag on it and you couldn't move for 12hrs., so I'm glad for medical break throughs.
