Spot, you're weird. :yh_bigsmi

I wash EVERYTHING before I use it. God only knows who tried on that pair of jeans or shirt I just bought? Who knows how many little kids, picking their noses have run their fingers all over the grapes sitting out there?

Yeah, I wash everything.

That's plain paranoid. Sterile wraps have to be good for something or why would they use them in the first place?

I don't wash clothes, like Nomad I chose items from the back of the pile that don't appear to have been tried on.

Cutlery and crockery I wash.

I wash new toothbrushes.

And I wash new towels coz it makes them fluffy :-6

There used to be a product, it was like alka seltzer, fizzy tabs that sanitized your toothbrush, I cant find it now, if anyone knows of a store that carries it I sure would love to know.

I don't wash clothes usually. I do for my littlest child, who is 8 months old (but for obvious reasons), but not for the rest of us.

I do wash fruit and vegetables.

It never occurred to me to wash meat or fish! Having said that, I never have bought from a butcher or market, so that's probably why. I'm not sure I would have thought of it then. Weird that that never occurred to me. :-2

Ooooh, Nomad, I think I know where I can find some of that stuff. If I do, I will send it to you. (Going out errand running tonight anyway.)

That's about it, though... I'm pretty bad about buying fresh veggies, I just buy the frozen stuff. And I figure if I cook the meat enough, anything on there should be dead by the time I eat it.

I haven't got any leather jackets etc. but i love the smell of leather....mmmmm I go in the leather shops just to have a 'sniff' :)

Have to say yes to washing most things before you use them, especially food (Botulism) is a particularly nasty thing which you can catch from dirty veg.
Behaviour breeds behaviour - treat people how you would like to be treated yourself
