Some recipes have funny names don't they....I always wondered why Welsh Rabbit(Rarebit) is so named when it's fancy cheese on toast.

Love Yorkshire pud, with roast beef.. ahhhhhhhhh... swoooon at the thought. But I can't do sausages in it these days. You really need to be working in the fields all day to cope with the calorie overload of that combination. Of course Sexy is a growing lad... grin.. Hope you feel better today!!

On the booze thing, reckon I've just about learnt now. :D One glass of something bubbly and I'm happy. One and a half glasses I'm still happy but swinging from the chandeliers too. Two glasses I'm the life and soul of the party and watch out world (I'd be over the driving limit). Three glasses, I'm either totally queasy (if it was beer) or sound asleep (if it was wine). My optimum pleasure v pain threshold is round 1 3/4 glasses.

It's a pudding made with suet, normally steamed, full of currants, sultanas or similar. it's served with custard

These are garibaldi biscuits. When I was a kid, we used to call them 'fly biscuits because the currants looked like squashed flies.....never put me off though :D

It may be a bit much for people...

I went out drinking one night. Woke up the next day feeling like my head was being punched and my stomach was bubbleing a hell of a lot. Everytime i belched i got a beautiful taste in my mouth. Then i was sick, i felt a bit better, but then an hour later, i feel like crap again. Then i did it again and hey presto i felt great. The headache, the bad stomach, the shivering was all gone.

And i felt good enough to go to a all you can eat buffet and drink some more booze, and i did :)

:)

Cheers.

That wonderful taste after vomiting :-4 *sigh*
