My mother never let us have bunnies. I had a kitty as a child, a lovely Siamese cat who would walk around the neighborhood with me, on a leash. Just like my kitty today, he walks with me in teh summer months, and we go across the street to the empty playing fields where the kids are, and run around.

Bez, I got my kite, and am making it.......................:)

Oh yes hours of kite flying when we were kids, dad took us up the hill to a nice big field and I remember him trying to get our old red and white box kite to fly. He and my brother got anxious ever spring to go fly this kite, I was happy to just tag along and pick flowers :)

And going down big hills in boxes, dirt sledding it all the way to the bottom! Then a quick dip in the pool afterwards!

It is an honour to the household when bunnies visit.

I never realised there was so much nostalgic olduns out there - roller skating, soapbox carts, climbing conker trees, knock down ginger (postman's knock) spinning tops, five stones, stilts, British bulldog, ALL free.

We sued to run a string across the road connected to a couple of empty cans, so as each car passed, it would hook it up, and go clanking along the road behind them.

We also improved the postman's knock by tying the knockers of two adjoining houses together where the doors opened inwards. We then banged simultaneously on both doors, and watched with glee how neither could open their respective front doors!

Those were the days!
