I once started a thread similar to this and it was pointed out to me that actually, these kinds of threads don't really help the situation. Like Pants, I was trying to 'change' things for the better.

There are always lots of "yes your right" comments, but there are also the "why should I change, I'm being me" comments.

We are such a diverse group of people here, if we all became 'clones' of the middle of the road people (of which I'm one ) it would be a less interesting place.

I guess what we need is more tolerance towards each other folks and respect.

"One mans meat is another mans poison " my old Mum used to say.

Please note I did not use the words NICE or LOVE....:D

Bez that is propably right, i just felt thing's needed to be said and hoped it would get a postitve reaction it can be difficult getting a point across without sounding like a pompus know it all .What i really wanted to say was kind of like... if we're in a forgiving kind of mood is it possible to extend it to all member's not just a chosen few . I would like to see a clean slate across the board if that was ever possible ..i don't want this to run and run because i think enough has been said it's just sad we have'nt really learnt anything . Maybe nextime i'll keep my nose out .:)

That was my reaction, but easier said than done eh? and anyway we all have the right to have our say. I think things have got better Pants...It'll just take time.

We'll just 'ease' our way back to the good times..I guess it can't be forced. :)

I don't usually do this but here goes, since I apparantly offended someone. I have found the easiest way to deal with an offensive post is to hit the back button or go to the FG home page find something else to read. Everyone here comes from different backgrounds, we are not all gonna agree on what is funny or appropriate. So just remeber this "different strokes for different folks".

Life is way ......................to short people,we are all in the same boat with different personalities.

That is what makes the world go round.

Thank goodness:-6

Exactly. I mean just consider a whole world of nothing but clones of yourself. Now that would be one scary place, so even though we can't agree on things, we all have our own personalities, and that's what makes us all unique in our own little way.
