Chris was worried there wasn't enough threads to post on! I am sure there is enough silly and funny things going on around us today, that we can keep him entertained all day long. Post it here!

:yh_rotfl Hahahaha thanks Chonsi!! I'm sure that we have plenty of silly things going on around us. For example we had the short brigade out in force in Winter, so has anyone seen people on warm hot sunny days wearing so much that you just have to laugh at how silly they are.

Oh, I must wear every article of clothing I have-just to show it off!:wah:
Not me!
But this will make you laugh-my teacher outfit for today: my blouse is pink, with little stiched flamingos all over it. Very cool-and silly looking.

Hehehe oh I'm sure it's not that silly looking!!
I noticed that someone made reference to John Cleese and his famous silly walk, so I took a peak again at it last night. Oh how he makes me laugh, I wonder how long it took him to get the hang of that? :sneaky:

I'm very often "generally silly" but I can't think of a single ridiculous thing I've done this week...
Hang on, though, I have just started playing internet backgammon...even though you don't know who you're playing and you are limited to a set number of phrases that you can use to communicate, it can quite silly...a lot of people won't complete a game if they're losing...but I stick it out to the bitter end if I'm losing. And I agree to double the points stakes if asked, even when I don't stand a hope of winning. That's a bit silly...isn't it?

Hahaha that does sound pretty silly. The only internet game that I play is Chess, and alhtough it's somewhat serious, you can get some pretty silly players, that make the most strangest of moves. Hehehe in fact I remember one game where someone made a move that let me take his queen, then asked to take that turn back. I was nice, so let him have his turn again, and then he made the exact same move. Oh how I laughed at how silly this person was. :wah:

Sorry, I don't "do" silly. :yh_silent I find the whole "silly" thing quite "offensive".
Another "thing" I find offensive is when "people" overuse "quotation marks". I would never "stoop" to "such" a "thing". :yh_shame

Yes Chris...and I usually "say" hello and get told to "hurry up"
I did have a silly incident some months ago when my wheel trim fell off. Another driver was pointing to my car as I drove out of tesco car park and yelling at me...I thought it was someone I knew and waved back. Then someone else did the same and so did I. Part way down the road I slowed down at a roundabout and saw my wheel trim shooting past me.

Oh I have that too with my chess games. I don't particulary like timed games, but some people seem to take the full 10 minutes a move thing a little too seriously, after all it's just a game.
Hehehe funny enough my dad had something similar happen to him not too long ago. We were driving down a road when we hit some traffic so we slowed down to wait for it to start moving again. Then all of a sudden this old lady started waving her arms about outside trying to get our attention. So my dad put down the window screen, and the lady proceeded to tell us that something was hanging from out of the side of our car. Now our aerial is a little wierd and does look strangely out of place, so my dad just assumed it was that. He told the lady thank you, but that's just the aerial. Now the lady took offence to this, and started to say that it was not an aerial, but more like our wing mirror, (how you can confuse the two I have no idea.)
Now we had just left 5 minutes ago, and as far as my dad goes he is a great driver and therefore could never hit something. So here is me feeling very silly as the two of them have an arguement, whilst by now the traffic has moved, and we are now holding cars ehind us. In the end I send look I will go check myself, got out of the car, and sure enough the wing mirror had taken a smack from something, and was daggling. Oh my dad was soooo embrassed and looked so stupid as he got out of the car, with everyone honking their horns to sort the problem out.

A couple of years ago I needed an extra cargo truck (at work) and phoned one of the local rental places. They assured me they had what I needed and it would be waiting for me when I arrived.
Sure enough, I walked in and they had the paperwork ready and the truck sitting right outside, beside the fuel pumps. I quickly signed and thanked the clerk, got in the truck (keys in the ignition as promised), and drove away.
Now, people don't usually recognize me driving a rental truck, so the third or so person pointing and waving got me suspicious, but I couldn't see anything wrong in the mirrors. I pulled over and walked around the truck to see ...... the hose from the fuel pump still in the tank and dragging the ground!
Thank God for automatic safety shutoff!

I know that one, Clancy, I had to go around in a balaclava until my fringe grew...and no, the balaclava didn't look at all silly compared to my fringe

Silly haircuts?
I am the middle of 3 brothers, all blonde hair & blue eyes. When we were all younger my Mum got our hair cut at her friends house (her friend worked to the 'hack it until it looks short enough' style).
Result was very odd bowl haircuts and whenever we had group photos taken it always looked like a still from 'Children of the Damned' or whatever that film was called.:yh_neutra :yh_neutra :yh_neutra
