It will be a great day for me financially, but it will be a lousy day for my patience, my temper and my nerves. This is just an excuse day to go out and get drunk. Like my customers need any more excuses. Sheesh.

Any excuse for a party eh??!:guitarist

It always amazes me that here in the UK lots of people use St. Patricks day as a reason to drink large amounts of fine beer (Ah, Guiness..:yh_drool .. .!) but never seem to do the same on St. Georges day???

Suppose instead of a pint of the black stuff it would have to be celebrated with warm flat ale....:yh_sick

Would try and join in but I don't think Mexican beer is widely available here!

Is 'Sol' Mexican? Actually I think it's Spanish...

Ah well, warm flat ale it is then!

It's not their Independence day, that's Sept. 16th. Cinco de Mayo

simply celebrates a battle victory over the French. In Mexico, it's a

smallish holiday. Here, yes, an excuse to get drunk.

Ah, thought Corona was also Spanish.

Only tend to drink Guiness when out on it - gave up the likes of Stella / Kronenberg years ago as it really doesn't agree with me.

Use to like Theakstons OP and also used to drink something called No.3 a few years ago. . .

Think it is every Englishman's patriotic duty to join in todays festivities - beer just opened
