This morning our Bluebird couple who have been nesting in one of the nesting boxes in our yard produced 5 baby Bluebirds from their 5 eggs!
In another box a pair of Tree Swallows are nesting but have not yet produced a family.
Both types of birds are colorful - the Bluebirds a bright blue on their back and wings while the Tree Swallows are colored midnight blue and white.
While the Tree Swallows feed by catching insects in flight the Bluebirds demand their own exclusive feeding table laden with the best type of mealworms.
