Thanks BR & Chonsi, I had a great day...we went canoeing up the river!

I`d never done it before, but I certainly will again, it was great! Lovely and warm too, which makes a change from our usual drizzle!:-6
Anytime, my friend. :yh_bigsmi

You went canoeing!! Oh, geeze, I love to canoe. So peaceful...That's it, I'm going to plan a canoe trip somewhere along the route for Bullet and I on our honeymoon. What fun!! I'm so glad you had a good day, Pink.

But yeah, great idea. It`s so relaxing:)
Yes, we are married. We eloped on December 1, 2005, to avoid all the hassle we were getting from my mother, and other various reasons. The reception party is June 3rd, and the honeymoon will be the first 2 weeks in July, (if I can get that much time off work) and we're packing up the bikes and just going. No particular destination in mind, except for a few friends we have to visit in Maryland, Georgia and Florida. We will also be riding the infamous "Tail of the Dragon" at Deal's Gap in W. Virginia. 318 curves in 11 miles. Deadly road. A bike a day goes off the road and there's about 12-15 fatalities a year. Scary sh!t, but I'm gonna do it!! Hubby has ridden it 6 times.

You should google Deal's Gap and have a look at it. It's incredible.

I don`t blame you for eloping, weddings are fab apart from all the hassle you get from family:-5 mine did my head in!

I bet you can`t wait until July, you deserve a break:-6
Oh believe me, if I don't think I am prepared to take on this road, I won't do it. Plain and simple. I'll ride the back of hubby's bike the first time down to get a feel for it, then I'll have a go, but only if I think I can handle it. This is only my second season riding, and I've heard of guys who've been riding 25, 30 years dump on this beast. In my biker forums, there's always a thread titled "The Dragon bites back" somewhere, and I always check to make sure it's not someone I know. Scary sh!t, man.

And no, I cannot WAIT till July. It's going to be a blast.
