My observations after a few days here

Post by Marie5656 »

Well, I have been on this forum a few days now and would like to make some observations, if I may. First, I really like it here. I have not yet had the time to really explore the place, and read all the posts that are of interest to me, but I am definatly interested. Where else, on ONE forum can you find varied discussions on movies, books, religion , and American Idol. One can find light hearted banter and humor, and deep intelectual discussion. I enjoy both..and hope to be able to hold my own, especially in the intilectual side. At least, I hope I can comment without embarassing myself:wah: I look forward to spending the next few days traveling around the forum, and really getting to know it. Right now I see so many interesting threads, I just do not know where to begin.

Have a good day everyone. And remember this gem from Yogi Bera: You got to be careful if you don't know where you're going because you might not get there.

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space.

As long as you remember that half the members are mad, that they will twist things that you say, that they will completely change the subject, go completely off tangent and that the subject ending up being discussed will have nothing to do with what you intended at the start - then you will get on fine!

Just don't expect an easy ride!:wah:
