I'd gladly host an FG gathering here in Detroit!!! I'd do just about anything to meet you guys in person! I'm also still waiting to hear if anything comes about for the big trip south in July. We'll be going through many states where several members live....We GOTTA do this, guys!!

I think it's an excellent plan! There are loads of things to do in Michigan! It's close enough to chicago, and then there is the matter of a little lake!:wah: You guys could do all sorts there!

And for the party animals, the clubhouse is an open house. No last calls, no closing time...hang out till you want to go home. It's cheap, too!! Ohhhh....how I could corrupt some of the more "innocents" in here.....:sneaky: :wah:

It would be awesome to have you and Voodoo here as well!! I'm wide open to suggestions on when and how and who. It's going to be a tough thing to organize, I'd imagine, but I really want this, as I'm sure lots of others do too!!

Just pick a time or event that you want it to occur around, and send the invites! It just sort of 'blossomed' here! From having Minks flying over for a visit. So many folks over here wanted to meet her, that I offered to put up a few and suggested a few things to do for the day. Then delegate duties! OM organised the pub visit, and I organised the meeting place. It fell together like legos! And the wonderful friendships that come out of it are priceless! Not to mention the pics!:wah: And then I go and lose my cell phone at the airport! Good thing everybody had already got there!

Tough job ahead of you guys, Snooze has a good point, transportation to get there and then being entertained while there. North america is so dang large, it's costly to travel from one end to the other. So you may want to consider a place that is easy to get around once you are there and has loads to see and do within walking distance cause lord knows walking all over the place is GOOD for you....The pain stops after 3 days trust me ahahahahah

Don't give up on this you guys, I think it,s a fabo idea and who knows maybe I will be showing up ahahahahaha no shrieks of horror please.

I'm sure that nearly all the US contingent of FG would love to try and show up, but I guess there has to be a point where you just aren't going to be able to fit everybody into the plans. My best advice would be to get a serious list of who would like to make it and when they are available, and take it from there.
