Why are the brits SO arrogant?

I fail to understand, why the british people have got so much "arrogance and pride", that they feel as though they are Superior and the best in every way possible to anyone else in the world!!! In reality, they really dont have "much at all" to be proud of...

In my opinion "one" of the few things they are experts in doing, is thinking about Sex (e.g. A purversed attitude towards sex), getting drunk (so that they dont have to hold an intelligent conversation), and make all other RACES feel like their not even worthy of themselves..

More importantly, "PORTRAYING AN ENORMOUS ACT OF ARROGANCE AND UN-NECCESSARY PRIDE!!").

There is a lot more to life then just Sex. (As per most Women)

Love "aint" all about sex "or" colour "or" **** sizes. It includes things like, 'being caring', and 'nice' to others as well (Not only "YOURSELVES"), and MIXING IN (interacting) witrh 'everyone'...

HINT: Learning from others, might be a good starting point..

"What would you do without us? ("Indians are treated like crap in the UK, when most of the UK's economy is actaully brought up by us")

Trust me, people here wouldn't be where they are today, if it werent for us !!!

The "only" bad thing Indians have ever done, is, won their country's independence, thats all, and ever since, people have always been pinched in one way or another of us!!

Whenever, the brits travel abroad, they are treated like Kings and Queens, but in their own country as a form of appreciation treat people like "S**t".

I really fail to understand that.

In my opinion, people should start working harder, so that, they can (equally) keep their families, friends, partners etc etc etc happy, just like we do, and drop the arrogance that sometimes, 'if not' all the time people seem to think will get them far!! And lastly LEARN a 'thing or two' from external influences..

Trust me, one of the main reasons why people dont really get too far in life here, is purely because of what they are like and how they are brought up..

The thing is, we are clever, and we know what we do, so, thats why we are where we are. And just for your info, India is actaully taking over in a BIG way, In fact it has already taken lead, YOU lot just dont see it in the light that we do!

Hi Jutput, there's a tad of "pot calling the kettle black" here as these are two of the most arrogant posts I've read in a long time!

I'd also say you have a HUGE chip on your shoulder!

And just FYI, we actually work VERY hard! But my hubby is NOT allowed to work overtime, which is paid at double rates. Overtime USED to be shared out fairly, UNTIL the Indians whinged and complained it was racist! Now they get ALL the overtime - paid at double pay - and skive off from their normal shift work leaving others to do their jobs for them!

But that's life and it aint fair! It's a lesson we all have to learn! :-5

Where do you live Mr. Nasty??? I guess you werent planning on spending a lot of time here. Just throw your hostile opinion out there and leave? If you had looked around a bit ( or maybe you did) It would of been evident to you that there is a long time cultivated respect going on here... between all of us, which means between countries. We are all such diplomats that our respective gouvernments should offer us all high paid positions. I will be visiting England for the first time next month. If the way my British friends have treated me here is any indication of the hospitality I will receive... I can rest assured the visit to this beautiful country will be something I will long remember. And arrogant??? As an American I have encountered so many arrogant narrow minded citizens here, that I keep my social circle very small. By the way, I cannott think of a better time than tossing back a few with the English, or the Irish or actually any new fun loving people I might meet. Listening to music, sharing life experiences and laughing. By the way.. I work very hard. I hope you go somewhere else to play.
