I guess I should have looked here in the first place! I didn't realize there was an introductions area.

I've only read a few posts so far, but, this seems to be the best place I've found!

There's not a whole lot to tell about myself, really. I'm 32, I'm Scottish and American Indian, and I have a beautiful 17 month old little girl.

I look forward to participating in FG.

Welcome to the garden. Glad to have you posting. Get r-rready for a lot of fun with a lot of great people. Looking forward to your posts.

CeltWmn wrote: Thanks for the welcome from all of you. It's already been pretty interesting! I just read through the thread started by Lady Cop regarding Saintsman. I guess I couldn't resist putting my two cents in. It was a bit amusing in the beginning-now it seems to be a bit on the ridiculous side! Took me forever just to get to the end of it!!

Sometimes the garden gets weeds that think they are flowers?

At least you got a look at a lot of the posters. Have fun and am looking forward to your words of wisdom.

Hi again CeltWmn! Rest assured, the incident from yesterday is a VERY rare thing. We get the ocassional bozo, and clean house pretty quick. FG moderators and administrators are on the ball! And you're right, this is a very friendly place. I'm glad you didn't take the thread with the bozo to heart, as it is the exception, NOT the rule. Stick around a while! You'll see! :yh_peace

CeltWmn wrote: Thanks to everyone! I was looking for a place I could speak to others that was a bit friendlier than the others, and it seems I've found it. (Excluding of course the little problem not but a day ago!) I've tried to read some of the posts on several threads just to get a feel for everyone here, and you all seem so close. I hope that I may enjoy that as well.

As a side note to Lady Cop, I hope things have calmed down a bit for you now!

Thank you CeltWmn for seeing things as they are. Baby Rider is quite correct that what happened yesterday is the exception and not the norm You will find intelligent, supportive people who are only here because they like to meet, learn and help people to be OK in their lives. It's a place to learn that you are not alone in the world and there are others, like you, contending with the same day to day problems that occur in the world. Enjoy your posting. Try the word games. They can be a blast.
