Okay, please can someone tell me how I can get a nice little flag under my nickname in my posts?

Heres what you cn try: Go to your settings, or profile, or whatever. Mark the spot where you tell what country you are from. That should give you a flag.

Go to 'My Settings'

go to 'My profile'

Scroll down to 'my country'

I f you put England you'll get St Georges flag

If you put United Kingdom you'll get the Union jack

here is what I found out about my flag

Flag Proportion: 1:2

The Canadian flag carries the national emblem, the maple leaf. The red on each end of the flag represents the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. The red of the leaf symbolizes the blood shed by Canadians during WW1. The white in the center stands for the snow that blankets the country.

I had no idea about the snow, and that cracked me right up as we do have some areas in Canada albiet small areas (in BC) that never see snow.

This flag began in the last half of the 13th century as a white flag with the red cross of St. George. In 1603 King James VI of Scotland became King James I of England he became the first king to unite England and Scotland under a new flag combining the Cross of St. Andrew, patron Saint of Scotland, with the cross of St. George, patron Saint of England. This flag was flown by the Royal Navy and was referred to as the "Union Jack". In 1801 King George III added the Cross of St. Patrick, patron Saint of Ireland to the flag and the flag has remained the same
