So..who makes the best chocolate?

As there seem to be alot of chocolate lovers here, I ask this question. Who makes the best chocolate? We have a couple of local chocolate makers here, who are both great. Here in Rochester is Andy's Candies. Great stuff! In Batavia, where I grew up is Oliver's candies..been around for years. www.oliverscandies.com It is a toss up for me as to which is better.

I will be in Batavia today, so I will be stopping at Oliver's. Time for a taste test.

Here, we have Godiva. But I have tasted much better. I still prefer Sees candy, it is so yummy.

Good ol DOVES chocolate in a bag at the store dark or light some of the best chocolate going.. :-4 Some of the fancy chocolate is just hype taste awful...

Spot, I am sure they could survive the short journey to Hereford and then I could sample them and give everyone my completely unbiased verdict!

Might as well confess here that as long as it's chocolate I pretty well much don't care who makes it, never found a chocolate yet that I didn''t like. (Don't like nuts but you can always let the choccie melt in your mouth and then spit the nut out!)

Milk, Dark, White or even chocolate truffles are all o.k. as far as I'm concerned.

A friend used to bring me chocolates from Belgium, they were like heaven on my tongue. :-4

Nah, my hands are clean, I'm a very clean lady!

No that isn't me, found it on the web. Don't think I was ever that sweet, although I have certainly been that grubby!

We don't have a any chocolate makers in our area, so I usually buy the chocolate bricks and make my own confections.

And when I'm in a pinch a good ole Nestle Crunch bar. :wah:
