When is the next UK get together going to happen?? I would love to go to it, but having no transport and work commitments means I need to have as much notice as possible:)

Will do my level best to be there!!

We've done Trafalgar Square, we need a different feel all round.

Might I propose http://www.the-gower.com/villages/Rhossili/rhossili.htm as a suitable July venue for 2007? It has quite a different atmosphere to London Town.

Spot, is Cardiff also a county-like name? I looked up her address, it ends in Cardiff, Wales. My other step-sister lives in Manchester.

*I am always very perplexed by these addresses, no offense. Her's has alot of Welsh names in them, please help me with the geography*

It's partially self-governing. It functions like a State in the USA, along with two countries, England and Scotland, and one province, Northern Ireland, in the nation called the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland which is governed from London.

Cardiff is the capital city of Wales. Wales is four times the size of Rhode Island, being 200 miles north to south. There's a map at http://www.british-towns.net/wales/maps ... ysical.gif and you can see Cardiff near the bottom right. Rhossili is the furthest point west but it's too small to be named.

Well it just goes to show how well we all got on and how much fun we had last month, to already be talking about the next UK meeting. If you do plan on Scotland, then that's probably going to be to far North for me, somewhere a bit more down South would be easier. But I'm sure that we can come up with some ideas for another meet, and I'm sure that it will be another great event whenever and whereever!!

Well I haven't been camping for years, but it would be nice to do it again, as long as the weather stays nice. Somehow though I can't see a camping FG meeting working well for most people, would be an experience though that's for sure!!

We have a year to plan I am sure if we toss enough ideas out there it will get figured out. Some can camp then meet up with the rest elsewhere....Us camper folk may smell a bit "rank" but hey take us or leave us hehehehehe

Hahaha well I think that sounds great. I would love to go out camping again, so if we could make something possible for the future that would be lovely. We can tell ghost stories and sing songs, hehe just like the olden days for me! :wah:
