Today was my monthly massage day. I lie and relax while my masseur pushes and pulls. I feel so good afterwards.

Does anyone else have a regular massage?

Take care,

Gordon

Not me,

I need a chiropracter I think.

My neck has awful cracking sounds, I'm wondering what to do about it.

A few years ago I went for regular massage combined with chiropractor sessions....heavenly, but too expensive and I couldn't keep it up....I have constant neck problems which I know are because I sit at a computer most of the day....then I go home.....and sit at a computer.....duh !!!

Think about my advice before doing it.

If you sit at a computer or desk for too long you will hurt your neck muscles. Try these exercises. We do them at gentle water exercises and under the shower.

1. Move your head from left to right and back, slowly, not bending forward or back. Try to match each movement with a deep breath. Repeat.

2. Put your chin on your chest, keep bending forward, slowly look up to the right, back to the centre and up to the left. Regulate with deep breathing. Repeat.

3. With your head level, breathe in, put your chin on your chest and breathe out. Repeat

4. With your head upright, breathe in, stick out [not up] your chin and breathe out. Repeat

Do each of these exercises several times and several times a day. Don't push too far if it hurts. Stretch, yes, hurt, no!

These are hospital Physio approved and taught.

I am doing this publically because a lot of people suffer neck pain that can be treated. It worked for me.

Take care,

Gordon.

I love massages. Have had a few. If I could afford to.. Id go every week.I love the feet most of all and I am a great believer in reflexology.

I love massages but don't get them regularly.

Although since I've had three back surgeries (all in my thirties), I'm sure it would be a great thing for me.

I think I'm gonna get one next week. A hot stone massage. Fabulous!
