I can't either. I can't watch TV because everything reminds me of him, I can't listen to the radio because everything reminds me of him. I can't bear to wash the last glass he used, or change our sheets, or clean up anything he left behind. His cigars and his sunglasses are sitting right here, I'm wearing his wedding ring on his gold chain, son of a bitch, I can't even throw away his empty soap bottle. Goddammit this hurts too much. I can't talk to anyone. I can't answer the phone, I just can't DO anything right now. If I could have done the time for him, I would do it gladly.

I have a question when he get sentenced can her get out till the appeal if you pay the bond?? I sure hope so any idea of what that might be ?? can we start a fund to go towards that isn't it 10% of the bond?? Ok I'm ramblings I just feel so awful ..:o

The judge can offer a bond while the appeal is going on. It doesn't mean he has to. Not to mention the fact that if he grants the bond and we can't come up with it, he sits in county untill the appeal, instead of being transferred to a prison, and frankly, prison is better than county jail. So we're leery about the bond part. The appeal, we're going for, of course. There are just SO many holes in this case, it's laughable. The biggest being that they "lost" the .38 that was confiscated at the scene that fired the bullet into Slick's ankle. That gun has never been accounted for. Also, they never did a gunshot residue test on the dead guy, although it was ordered to be done. This was shoddy police work, plain and simple. And the other half of me sits in a jail cell because of someone else's mistake.

Damn I'm so angry about this I just think the whole thing stinks..!!

Have you discussed what may happen with LC she can give you great insite as to what will happen during the sentencing. I know you don't want to talk to any right now, but email her kiddo she knows your devastated right now, but she knows all about these kinda things..

There has to be some idea what the bond will be. Don't they give you till a certain time to pay it, they know you don't have the money right then and there?? :-5

BR with all those blunders in the way the case was handled, it's hard to believe Bullets "defenseless" lawyer couldn't have made a better defense out of it! You definately must get a new lawyer for the appeal! You need to find a slick, no holds barred, anything goes, two-fisted lawyer, that will kick A*S during the appeal! Again stay strong (easier said then done) and remember, "right" is on your side, so eventually you both will overcome!

Carla, I have discussed this with LC at great length. She has been kind enough in her fragile state to help me with this. She believes there was incompetence involved with the police, and an appeal attourney can bring this all to light and get this heinous judgement reversed. She called the case "lame." Especially with all the dicrepancies. She is baffled as to WHY no GSR was done on the guy who fired on Bullet and his friends. Our appeal looks good, but I thought that about our case in the first place. I just don't know and being powerless and not informed is making me insane. I want to punch holes in my walls, and break dishes. I can't even begin to go through all the stuff we got for our reception. F*U*C*K!!!!!

Sorry, anastrophe, I had to let that out.

Carla, I love you and asking questions helps me focus. Something I am having a hard time doing right now. Go ahead....ask questions. It helps me, seriously.

Picture someone coming along and slicing you in half, right down the middle. And still leaving you alive, but 1/2 of you is missing. You're not whole. That's how I feel.
